Examining my obsession with what it means to have a home, Windows_2, _3 and _4 are part of an ongoing body of work depicting bedroom views from every place I have lived. Similar to framing pictures of loved ones, these recordings enable me to appreciate the worth of each individual vista. It expresses how beauty, comfort and love can often be found in the commonplace.

The physical manifestation of light readings taken through windows of English housing estates, the Windows are three-dimensional reliefs fabricated in waterjet and kiln-formed glass. This innovative process recreates photographic imagery through the combination of digital technology and the colour density of glass.
