In 2003, an undercover reporter published photographs that revealed Queen Elizabeth II ate breakfast from Tupperware®. Despite the shocking security breaches to achieve these images, it was the containers themselves that dominated tabloid headlines.

In 1709, the Doge of Venice gifted approximately 1000 exquisite glass objects to King Frederik IV of Denmark and Norway for his Glass Cabinet at Rosenborg castle, Copenhagen.

In Windsorware™, Dickson has designed a set of containers for the royal breakfast. Borrowing imagery and forms traditionally used in venetian glass, Dickson imagines what the Doge of Venice would gift the British Monarchy today. Using ornate, vivid embellishments, the ubiquitous plastic containers have been elevated to fine tableware fit for a Queen.
